John was born in Frankfort on June 29, 1946, and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1971. He is a graduate of Centre College and the University of Kentucky College of Law. John served as a law clerk for John S. Palmore on Kentucky’s highest appellate court. He is a former Master Commissioner of the Franklin Circuit Court, and has served on the House of Delegates for the Kentucky Bar Association, as a Director of the State National Bank and currently serves as an advisory board member of Whitaker Bank, Frankfort, Kentucky. He is a past President of the Franklin County Bar Association and is currently a member of the Franklin County Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. He practices law in the areas of Civil Litigation; Real Estate; Zoning, Planning and Land Use; Wills, Trusts, and Estates; Personal Injury; and Administrative Law. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Kentucky and has served as the court-appointed receiver for utilities and court-appointed executors and trustees.
